Environmental Policy

ENVISION recognises that whilst our activities can have adverse effects on the environment, we can take steps to minimise those impacts and ENVISION is committed to minimising the environmental impacts of our day-to-day business operations.

Our commitment is to:

  • Continuously improve our environmental performance and to integrate recognised environmental management best practice into our business operations.
  • Reduce our consumption of resources and improve the efficient use of those resources.
  • Measure and take action to reduce the carbon footprint of our business activities to meet our published objectives and targets.
  • Manage waste generated from our business operations incorporating reduction, re-use and recycling in accordance with the principles of the waste hierarchy.
  • Manage our business operations to prevent pollution.
  • Minimise the potential spread of invasive non-native species when undertaking survey work by following current biosecurity guidance.
  • Give due consideration to environmental issues (such as biodiversity) and energy performance in the acquisition, design, refurbishment, location and use of buildings.
  • Ensure environmental criteria, including climate change, are taken into account in the procurement of goods and services.
  • Comply, as a minimum, with all relevant environmental legislation as well as other environmental requirements to which the company subscribes.

To meet our commitments, we will:

  • Communicate the importance of environmental issues and ENVISION policies to all team members.
  • Work together with our teams, service partners, suppliers, landlords and their agents to promote improved environmental performance.
  • Use a waste management company, BIFFA, to collect and process all recyclable materials produced as part of our business operations
  • Engage with stakeholders, including communicating internally and externally our environmental policy and performance on a regular basis.
  • Monitor key objectives and targets for managing our environmental performance at least annually.
  • Review our environmental policy regularly.


Environmental awareness and performance are promoted and encouraged in all aspects of work and at all levels of management and stages of employment. All team members have responsibility to ensure their individual work meets the requirement of this policy with the company directors being responsible for implementing, reporting, and reviewing this policy and performance at least annually.
